The Richest Temple of The World..

This Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is also known as Triupati Balaji and Tirupati Venkateswara. This is a famous Hindu Temple of Lord Venkateswara located in the hill-top-town Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.

This Temple is located 860 metes above sea level at top of a hill named Venkatadri and visited by about 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims daily. While on special occasions and festivals, the number of pilgrims shoots up to 500,000, making it one of the most visited holy place in the world.

In south India, most of the temples have two kinds of Darshan system; paid and free. Beside that, temples accepts donations and Bheti's and a formal receipt is also issued after depositing an amount of money for the particular temple or the trust.

As a huge amount of money (wealth?) is collected in this temple, by thousands of pilgrims and devotees, each day, it is also regarded as the richest temple of the world.
